Watercoin Supports Humanitarian Project for Flood Aftermath Mitigation in Mykolaiv and Kherson, Ukraine

Watercoin is supporting the implementation of a humanitarian project aimed at mitigating the aftermath of the massive floods in Southern Ukraine. This initiative focuses on the drying out of flooded households and will be implemented by the NGO “Let’s Do It Ukraine” in the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions from July to September 2024.

The project’s implementation will assist households and social infrastructure objects that have suffered from the floods. The project aims to dry out 80 flooded households, as well as the basements and first floors of 5 multi-story buildings. This will enable residents to remove excess moisture from their homes and maintain proper sanitary standards for living.

After the project is completed, the drying equipment will be transferred to social facilities such as kindergartens and schools to maintain humidity levels within permissible limits in shelters. The project is expected to benefit a total of 1,400 civilians, including children.

Watercoin підтримує гуманітарний проєкт для ліквідації наслідків повені у Миколаївській та Херсонській областях, Україна

Watercoin підтримує реалізацію гуманітарного проєкту, спрямованого на ліквідацію наслідків масивних повеней на Півдні України. Ця ініціатива зосереджена на осушенні затоплених домогосподарств та буде реалізована командою ГО «Let’s Do It Ukraine» у Миколаївській та Херсонській областях у липні-вересні 2024 року.

Реалізація проєкту допоможе домогосподарствам та соціальним інфраструктурним об’єктам, що постраждали від повеней. Проєкт передбачає осушення 80 затоплених домогосподарств, а також підвалів і перших поверхів 5 багатоповерхових будинків. Це дозволить мешканцям видалити надлишкову вологу зі своїх будинків та підтримувати належні санітарні норми для життя.

Після завершення проєкту осушувальне обладнання буде передано соціальним закладам, таким як дитячі садки та школи, щоб підтримувати рівень вологості у допустимих межах у сховищах. Очікується, що проєкт принесе користь загалом 1400 цивільним особам, включаючи дітей.
