From 12 to 20 June 2026, the picturesque mountain resort of Bakuriani, Georgia, hosted the Erasmus+ youth exchange “Find the Balance – Healthy Mind, Healthy Body”, bringing together 30 young people from Ukraine, Georgia, Poland, Germany, Lithuania, and Armenia. Ukraine was represented by the Let’s Do It Ukraine delegation, led by Sofiia Hudzovska, together with participants Alina Antonova, Kseniia Alieksieienko, Anastasiia Huzenko, and Yevheniia Khrystych.

The project aimed to strengthen young people’s mental health, promote emotional resilience, encourage healthy lifestyles, and support participants in finding a better balance between physical and mental well-being. In today’s rapidly changing world, young people face numerous social, emotional, and digital challenges, making projects focused on well-being more important than ever.

Throughout the nine-day programme, participants took part in a wide range of non-formal educational activities, including interactive workshops, practical training sessions, group discussions, team-building exercises, intercultural evenings, reflection sessions, and collaborative learning activities. These methods created a safe environment where participants could openly exchange experiences, share ideas, and learn from each other’s cultures and perspectives.

The exchange focused on developing emotional intelligence, stress management skills, digital resilience, media literacy, leadership, teamwork, communication, and active citizenship. Participants explored practical tools that can help young people improve their personal well-being while becoming more active members of their local communities.

For the representatives of Let’s Do It Ukraine, the project became an excellent opportunity to present Ukrainian youth initiatives, share experiences in volunteering and community engagement, establish new international partnerships, and exchange good practices with young leaders from across Europe. The knowledge and skills gained during the exchange will contribute to future environmental, educational, and youth initiatives implemented in Ukraine.
The project was organized by CAYNEX (Georgia) in partnership with the Global Wave Foundation (Poland) with the support of the Polish National Agency of Erasmus+.

International Erasmus+ projects continue to create valuable opportunities for young people to learn, cooperate across cultures, and develop the competences needed to become future leaders. By building strong international partnerships and promoting solidarity, such initiatives contribute to stronger communities and a more sustainable future for Europe.
Let’s Do It Ukraine remains committed to supporting international cooperation, youth leadership, volunteering, and active citizenship while creating new opportunities for young people to make a positive impact both locally and globally.
